CBD and Coffee

CBD hemp oil taken in moderate doses generally doesn’t produce any negative side effects.

In fact, the lack of negative side effects is one of the main reasons why people decide to take CBD hemp oil for its many beneficial pain relieving, relaxation producing, antianxiety, and anti-inflammatory properties.

One thing I’ve noticed though is that CBD hemp oil can make you feel a little drowsy or lethargic.

Sometimes this is simply an indication that you took too much CBD.

Taking CBD Oil

So, if CBD is making you tired or lethargic, the first thing to do is to lower the dose you are taking.

For example, if you’ve been taking a 25 mg capsule or 25 mg dropper dose of CBD tincture, you may want to lower your dose to 10 – 20 mgs.

Lowering your dose is the first thing you can do to stop any negative side effects you may be experiencing with CBD hemp oil.

CBD is a compound that has biphasic properties.

This simply means that CBD can have more positive effects at lower doses and more negative effects at higher doses.

Again, most people don’t experience negative side effects with CBD hemp oil.

This information is only for people who seem to get that uncomfortable tired feeling from taking their regular dose of CBD oil.

Dosing CBD for Coffee

So what if you want to destroy negative side effects without lowering your CBD dose?

I hear you. I’ve been there. You want to keep the strong, beneficial effects you get from taking a moderate dose of CBD, i.e. 25 mg or more, but you want to avoid the negative side effects this dose produces.

You want to keep the good and get rid of the bad. Okay, then I have a solution for you.

Let me tell you about my own experience with CBD and how I handle this type of situation.

I like to take a 25 mg capsule of CBD in the morning with my other supplements as part of my morning routine.

The 25 mg dose of CBD works well for me for the most part. I get the beneficial relaxing effects of CBD.

But sometimes I’ve noticed I also get some negative side effects such as a heavy feeling in my head, a little drowsiness, and a little lethargy.

To mitigate these unwanted side effects I use perhaps one of the greatest discoveries of mankind: COFFEE

Summary - CBD Use With Coffee

Coffee, or a dose of caffeine more specifically, eliminates the drowsiness and lethargy that a moderate CBD dose can cause.

I make sure to have my cup of coffee about 20 to 40 minutes after my CBD hemp oil dose.

Spaced apart, I allow the CBD to get absorbed first and then I mitigate the negative side effects I get with a strong cup of coffee.

I love to drink coffee in the morning anyway so this routine is extremely easy and natural for me.

If you don’t like coffee, you can have black tea, green tea, yerba mate, or any other mild caffeinated beverage which you desire.

CBD and coffee (caffeine, really) – it’s a match made in heaven.

Give it a try and let me know about your experience in the comments below!
