Can’t Afford CBD? Here are 3 of the Best CBD Brands that Offer Financial Assistance

cbd-oil-financial-assistance

As beneficial as CBD is, not everyone who could benefit from it can readily afford it. Several companies that manufacture CBD understand this, which is exactly why many offer financial assistance to individuals who otherwise couldn’t afford it.

While there are quite a few CBD companies out there just to make money, there are many more that have created companies to truly make a positive impact people’s lives with this life-changing cannabinoid.

Below are 3 of our favorite CBD brands that offer financial assistance to individuals who need it the most.

3 CBD Companies Offering Financial Assistance for Those Who Qualify

1. Bluebird Botanicals

Bluebird Botanicals will forever be one of our favorite companies. Not only do they have one of the best reputations in the CBD sector, but their commitment to quality and customer service is unparalleled.

Part of their commitment to providing some of the best customer service in the industry is by giving back to those in need, and they’re happy to offer financial assistance to individuals who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford their products. Assistance programs they offer include:

  • Low-Income Program: A discount on full-price retail products is available for individuals who fall at or under the federal poverty level. To apply for their low-income assistance programs individuals must provide proof that they are currently receiving low-income benefits (SNAP, LEAP, etc.). Medicaid is not accepted for this program.
  • Veterans Program: In gratitude for their service, all military veterans can receive a discount on all full-price retail products. To apply, veterans must provide photo, copy, or fax of a military ID card, DD214, or drivers license or ID with VA endorsement.
  • Long-Term Disability Program: People on long-term disability may also receive a discount on full-price retail products by providing documentation from a government agency that proves you receive disability benefits. Keep in mind that Medicaid is not accepted.

2. Lazarus Naturals

Lazarus Naturals is a company that “strives to make [our] products accessible to everyone.” Because they understand that not everyone can afford their products, they offer 60% off to vets, low-income households, and individuals on long-term disability.

Military veterans can send a scanned copy or photo of their military ID, DD214, or VA card to Lazarus Naturals to receive a full 60% off all products.

Low-income households can apply for assistance by sending a copy of their previous year’s tax return. Other proofs of income are also accepted on a case by case basis.

Those on long-term disability must send certification from a doctor or a disability income acceptance letter to receive their discount.

To apply, register for an account with Lazarus Naturals and send documentation once you are logged in to your account.

3. Hemp Bombs

Hemp Bombs is a fairly new CBD company making an extremely positive impact in the CBD space. Not only do they provide high-quality products, but also offer assistance to those who need it most.

Hemp Bombs offers all their CBD products at 15% off to senior citizens 55-years-old and older and veterans and active duty military personnel.

Seniors can simply fill out a form on the Hemp Bombs’ website. Providing a photo ID is optional.

To receive a 15% discount on all Hemp Bombs products, active duty military and veterans just need to fill out a simple form, as well. No ID is required.

Final Thoughts on CBD Financial Assistance

We think as many people as possible should have access to the potential benefits of CBD oil. Sometimes the people who can benefit the most are the ones that need a little help.

The CBD brands in this article all offer programs to get you access to CBD no matter your level of income.

If we had to recommend one brand we love the most which also offers financial help, it would be Bluebird Botanicals. They have a top quality product, strong industry reputation, and some of the best customer service available.

  • I have begun using Bluebird Botanicals after I had heard what good customer service they had, especially for being such a small company (in the US). My first contact was through said customer service & I was blown away by the kindness & compassion, along with their knowledge. I was able to easily get on the discount program with a minimal amount of requirements & I’ve been very impressed with their product after just a few weeks.

    • Hey Rachel! Thanks so much for taking the time to submit your feedback here. So glad to hear you had a such a wonderful experience with Bluebird. There’s a reason why they’re considered one of the best CBD brands out there. Your story proves it 🙂

  • Thank you so much for your information. I am 73 and on social security. I have bad knees from years of horse riding. Need knee replacements and I have arthritis in my hands. I’m on a fixed income so therefore I can’t afford the expense. But CBD oil certainly relieves my constant pain. I will order from Hemp Bombs as they do offer a senior citizen discount. Again thank you for your informative article.

  • I totally agree about bluebird botanicals. They are some of the nicest people Ive ever spoke with. My husband & I both are disabled. I have a mental illness. And battle the pills. He was in a car accident in 2003 that left his best friend killed and him paralyzed. They were most helpful about 4 months on some advice. Now we are learning about this & the wonders of cbd. I hate taking pills as does Chris.

  • I went with Enjoy remedies they have a program that donates to people who cant afford it. My grandpa has gotten all of his cbd oils for free!

  • I have a question. I heard that a drug test would be positive if you were taking hemp oil gel caps. Would the same be true of CBD oil in any form? I am in a pain clinic and am tested randomly for marijuana etc.

    • Hi Alice. A CBD product (or any product made from the cannabis plant) can result in a positive test for THC if there is THC in the product. Many CBD and hemp based products are 100% THC free. These are the products to look for if drug tests are a concern. If you let me know exactly what product you are using, I would be happy to take a look at it for you to see how we can help 🙂

  • I recently got approved to Absolute Nature CBD assistance program. Approved the same day for 60% discount. I was recommended them by a group I’m in on Facebook and heard they where extremely helpful, professional. I can confirm they where polite, professional and kind.

  • I have read this is good for pain and anxiety and I need that! At the moment I am on pain meds and Xanax and I want to reduce or eliminate them altogether. If I got the CBD oil and took it orally would it also help with dry cracking skin?
How much of a discount could you get on disability with a very low income ?

    • Hi. Thanks for your comment and questions. We recommend speaking to your doctor to see if CBD is appropriate for you.

People generally use CBD topicals for dry cracking skin. It’s important to make sure the topical does not contain any additives which could be harmful for your skin.

Please contact the brand of your choice directly to see if you would qualify for the discount.

  • This article has been a lifesaver. I am on long-term disability. After I pay my rent and some of my utility bills ,I barely have enough money left to do anything with.

I’m talking less than $100 for the entire month. I have been spending it on high-priced CBD oil‘s that barely last the entire month. I had a lot to learn about dosing, milligrams per dose, etc. etc.

I was starting to get very frustrated and depressed.

I really thought I would have to go and get anxiety drugs off of the street i.e. Klonopin Xanax etc. or start Dr. shopping.
Not because I want to be addicted, but because I have a bonafide severe anxiety/panic disorder. which is the reason why I am on disability.
    Agoraphobia.
Also PTSD and bipolar type two.

Recently I have been dealing with severe nerve pain and joint pain.

They are doing a bunch of tests and bloodwork and etc. but nothing is relieving the pain and I feel like my situation is pretty bleak and hopeless

Then 10 months ago my house caught on fire. My house of 15 years. And I lost everything and I do mean absolutely everything.

The only help I got was a gift card for $200. $200 to be used at a specific store to replace everything I lost. I know that material possessions can be replaced. I know this.

I’m not trying to get people to feel sorry for me or boo-hoo whoa is me

because I know there are people in worse positions than me right now

I’m just giving you an honest assessment of my situation and life.

I wrote to both of the people on this list turned in my paperwork as proof of low income/disability.

Bluebird got back to me pretty much in less than 72 hours. They are absolutely fabulous. I really hope Lazarus gets back to me

I am looking for something that I can physically Put onto my skin/muscles/joints

I am thinking of getting a high quality CBD from bluebird and maybe mixing it with some sort of Shea butter with some lavender mixed in like my own balm because I cannot find any relief

and like I said I’m very grateful for this article and thank you to the companies who offer this help to people like me
